Your business could be exposed to serious threats if you fail to take appropriate internal security measures! The focus of this workshop is to describe these three primary areas of exposure and explain the measures that need to be taken to minimize the risks:
1) Employee Skimming
2) FACTA Regulations (Federal restrictions regarding the truncation of consumer credit card information on customer receipts)
3) PCI-DSS Internal Security Standards contractually required by Credit Card Companies in order to utilize their services
The primary emphasis will be on the Internal Security Standards and what it means with respect to the interplay between restaurants, card companies, POS vendors, card processing companies, acquiring and merchant banks, etc.
